This Second International Conference on ‘Igniting the Genius Within’, organised by the Centre for Leadership, Innovation and Change (CLIC) at the ISB focusses on leadership and innovation through turbulent times. This interactive conference offers participants a unique opportunity to tap into the confluence of three themes:

  • Wisdom Perspectives: Ideas from the spiritual domain that could be applied in organisational context
  • Scientific Principles: Based on latest research in the areas of neuro sciences, cognitive sciences, and complexity models
  • Management Best Practices: Best practices from organisations around the world in the areas of leadership, innovation and change management

The focus of this conference is lessons and best practices that we can take away from each other and ideas that we can build on to create next practices in our organisations. In addition, the Conference introduces the participants to contemporary approaches for developing global leadership, igniting innovation in their respective organisations, and focus on the following key areas:

  • Global Wisdom: Perspectives, principles and practices on leadership, change management and innovation
  • Innovation: Business Innovation, Affordable Innovation and Innovative Business Models
  • Leadership case studies: Examples, frameworks and stories from successful executives who led their organisations through turbulent times
  • Change and transformation: How do we transform the organisations and change the mindsets of our employees (and let them change us)?
